Spain faces Germany in the Euro 2024 quarter-finals after overcoming Georgia in the round of 16. Despite an early own goal setback, Spain dominated the second half with Rodri’s precise weak-footed shot helping secure their place in the last eight. Both Spain and Germany have been impressive in the tournament, setting up a highly anticipated clash in Stuttgart.

Spain’s Predicted Starting XI (4-3-3):

GK: Unai Simon – Simon has been solid, with his first goal conceded coming in the third game. He is expected to have a busy night against Germany.

RB: Dani Carvajal – The Real Madrid full-back will face off against Jamal Musiala and continue his partnership with Lamine Yamal.

CB: Aymeric Laporte – Despite moving to the Saudi Pro League, Laporte remains a key player for Spain, tasked with managing Havertz’s movements.

CB: Robin Le Normand – Set to join Atletico Madrid after the Euros, Le Normand has been strong at the back.

LB: Marc Cucurella – Despite a mixed season with Chelsea, Cucurella has been excellent for Spain, providing tactical balance on the left.

CM: Rodri – A crucial player for Spain, Rodri’s goal against Georgia was vital. He will play a significant role in countering Germany’s playmakers.

CM: Pedri – Managed wisely by De la Fuente, Pedri has been subtly impressive and is expected to start.

CM: Fabian Ruiz – Ruiz has been productive, scoring in the last match and enjoying a good run in the tournament.

RW: Lamine Yamal – The 16-year-old has been outstanding, providing assists and demonstrating sublime technique.

ST: Alvaro Morata – Though he hasn’t scored since the opening match, Morata continues to fulfill his role effectively.
