ES Troyes AC’s talented winger Savinho is set to be unveiled as Manchester City’s newest signing on Wednesday, according to a report from Sport.

The 20-year-old Brazilian, who impressed during his loan spell at Girona last season, is eager to join Pep Guardiola’s squad.

Savinho had a stellar season with Girona, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in 41 games. His performances not only earned him a debut for Brazil but also attracted interest from top clubs, including Barcelona. However, due to financial constraints, Barcelona had to withdraw from the race, leaving the path clear for Manchester City.

The Premier League champions decided to acquire Savinho from Troyes in December. The deal was facilitated by the fact that both clubs are part of the City Football Group.

Savinho is keen to work under Guardiola, believing that the Manchester City manager can significantly enhance his development and help him secure a regular spot in the Brazilian national team.

Reports indicate that if there are no last-minute surprises, Savinho will be officially presented as a Manchester City player on Wednesday, marking the club’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
