Man City prepared to meet €40m valuation for French highly-rated midfielder
The player’s prolonged courtship by Juventus seems to be reaching its conclusion as he edges closer to a move to Manchester City, with explicit interest from manager Guardiola.
With the January transfer market set to open shortly, Juventus is expected to be a key player, actively seeking a prominent midfielder.
In recent weeks, Khephren Thuram of Nice has been prominently mentioned. The 22-year-old midfielder, known for his physical strength and dynamic playing style, has been on the radar of Juventus.
However, recent report from TV Play suggest that Manchester City has emerged as a frontrunner for Thuram’s signature, overshadowing Juventus’ pursuit.
Manchester City appears determined to secure Thuram’s services in January, and Nice is standing firm on their valuation of 40 million euros for the player.
While this price tag poses challenges for Juventus, Manchester City seems less deterred and is willing to meet the financial demands set by the French club.
Guardiola has expressed a clear interest in Thuram, seeing him as the ideal reinforcement to elevate the already high standard of City’s midfield. The potential transfer is facilitated by Thuram’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, who also represents Erling Haaland.
This involvement could pave the way for one of the most significant signings in the January transfer market for Manchester City. Juventus, on the other hand, appears resigned to losing Thuram to the English club.
