While uncertainty looms over Erling Haaland’s future at Manchester City, the striker expressed contentment with his current situation, citing his happiness in Manchester and the positive environment around him.

When questioned about his future, Haaland reiterated his satisfaction at Etihad Stadium, emphasizing that any speculation should accurately reflect his statements.

Haaland stated, “I’m really happy at City, really happy with all people I’m surrounded by  — manager, board, directors…”. He added, “I say this now: tomorrow you never know what the future brings but I am happy”. He urged journalists to report his complete remarks, not just selective quotes.

Regarding links to Real Madrid, Haaland emphasized his focus solely on football, particularly amidst a busy schedule of games.

“My focus is mainly now on the pitch, there’s a lot of games, two days ago a derby, now the Champions League, Sunday is Liverpool. So I think I should focus on that…” — Erling Haaland on his Manchester City Contract.

When asked about comparisons with Manchester United’s Rasmus Højlund, Haaland acknowledged his rival’s talent and potential, emphasizing their shared youth and the need for continuous development.
