Declan Rice praises Man City midfielder as “a beast”

Arsenal’s Declan Rice has heaped praise on Manchester City’s Rodri, calling him a “monster” after their recent goalless draw.

The two sides are battling for the Premier League title, but both have dropped points recently.

Rice was a target for City last summer but opted for Arsenal in a £105 million move.

“Do you love him? He is a monster,” admitted Rice. “When you speak to the Man City lads at England, they say when Rodri doesn’t play they feel the difference themselves. Visibly, you can see that, too.”
